Go Shorty, It's your Birthday

Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to MEEEEEEE, Happy Birthday to Me and the other people who also share my date of birth.  So it is finally here! As I reflect on my life this morning, all I can think is dear 29, challenge accepted!  I am officially in the last year of my twenties and like a fine wine I expect to only get better with age. I’m going to take on this next year of my life with passion, determination, wit, humor, blogging and general exuberance.   I wanted to take some time today and share a little about myself that you may not know. 

Here are 29 things about me in honor of my 29^th birthday! 

1. I am on record at being 5’9 (and some change), please refer to me as the Amazon
2. Adult Cats creep me out (I think they steal the life force from infants to survive)
3. I lived in Turkey (the country) for 2.5 years
4. I was born in Biloxi, MS
5. I was once allergic to apricots
6. Cheese is my favorite food group
7. I ran Varsity track in high school all 4 years
8. I graduated undergrad in 3 years (Go Dawgs)
9. I am a double Dawg meaning I went to UGA for graduate and undergraduate
10. I used to be a live-in nanny
11. I attended theater camp
12. I play tennis
13. I don’t like my foods to touch  (I will never eat pot pie)
14. I have ulcerative colitis
15. I still have my tonsils and my appendix
16. I have never broken a bone
17. I failed my first driver’s license test for not using turn signals
18. I probably only passed calculus because my dad gave my teacher whiskey and deer meat
19. I love the 80s
20. I almost had a warrant issued for my arrest (almost)
21. I know how to convert a soda bottle into a bong
22. Vodka is my favorite alcohol (Grey Goose and pineapple)
23. I read Twillight and loved it (all 4 books)
24. I still have a library card (that I use)
25. I need cold pillows to sleep
26. I don’t like hot sauce (Take my black card if you must)
27. I don’t drink tea or coffee
28. I have scoliosis
29. I believe in ghosts

Now that we are closer, I want to take a moment to thank all the people that made this day possible. Big ups to my man Jesus Christ and the big homie God for all that they do!  Holla at me Virgin Mary I want to share my thanks to you too! Shout out to my parents for conceiving me and raising me right! Love and blessings to my friends, family, coworkers, and all the people that genuinely want me to succeed in life, that love me, that accept me, that lift me up!  To all my haters people always thank you but F that, you all can kick rocks because I am not that evolved! If you don’t like me than you must hate America; which means I can’t take you seriously or consider your feelings at all.  To my readers thank you for letting me share my random thoughts and express my inner crazy!
