2014 in Summary

I just wanted to say hey since we are officially into a new year!  A lot has happened in the past year that I should have blogged about but didn’t, including: Celebrity deaths I avoided:  of Robin Williams, Diem Brown, Oscar de la Renta,  Philip Seymour Hoffman, Elizabeth Pena, Joan Rivers, Harold Ramis, James Garner, Elaine Stritch, Meshach Taylor, Ruby Dee, Maya Angelou, and many others.

Political Scandal I avoided: Bridgegate (w/ Chris Christie), the indictment of Rick Perry, and Gov. Bob McDonnell’s trial

Race and Police brutality related issues I avoided: Michael Brown shooting (Ferguson Missouri), Eric Garner death (NY), and just about every day for us Black Americans

General WTFs:  Malaysia Airlines jetliner that vanished with 239 people aboard, Donald Sterling, Ebola panic in America, Sony being hacked, ISIS,  Bill Cosby, and Ray Rice, the NFL, and that video

If you are wondering what I did do this year.... 

• I did play along for the ALS ice bucket challenge so kudos to that! 
• I got married in 2014 (woohoo) and blogged a ton for Cordier Events!  
• Celebrated Baby A's first birthday
• Traveled to London and also hung out in the mountain regions of the US
• Went to work just about every week day (not counting snow days)
• Said Goodbye to my amazing, wonderful, and still very loved grandmother (RIP Essie Moore)
• Got a new Pitbull puppy (I love you Zeus)
• Played the part of a bridesmaid in 2 weddings

 All in all 2014 was a pretty big year and I apparently had way too much going on to blog about it! Hopefully I will do better in 2015!
